July 2008 forecast for Taurus

July becomes a real turning point for everyone, Taurus, because it comes right after the celebration of the summer solstice. Depending on the source you check you may find June 20 as the date of the solstice, and June 21 as an alternative date. Whichever date the solstice falls on, it begins the season of summer, which begins an interesting time in your reading.
 
Mercury was retrograde for most of June, which really sucked. The good news is it is over now, and has been direct for about a week and a half by the time we move into July. That means we can begin summer with full speed ahead. You may have found June to feel somewhat stagnant and slow-moving. That is what happens during a Mercury retrograde, but I found it to be nothing more than a mild nuisance. I really didn't experience too many communication flare-ups or foul-ups -- some minor computer issues, nothing major -- and otherwise an uneventful June. What I did notice, however, was I was doing a great deal of reviewing my recent past, and re-evaluating where I'd like to go when I move forward, and refocusing on how to make things happen. Notice the re- that comes before these words. That's a hint as to what you can do to muddle through a Mercury retrograde, so next time it comes around you don't feel as though you'd like to bury your head in the sand somewhere. Hopefully you found yourself to be introspective as well during the month of June, so let's take a look at July.
 
The season of summer is a good time to reap what you've sown. Hopefully you planted seeds in the spring and you are now seeing them come to fruition in the summer. You may have been cultivating some plantings since the fall season, even. This, of course, is a metaphor I use to infer creative endeavors you initiate in order to manifest what you want. Using the different seasons along with astrological events -- such as Mercury retrograde, or not -- to help you in your endeavors can ensure proper timing. For example, you wouldn't really want to try and initiate anything in the winter season, although this is an excellent time to be reviewing and preparing for new beginnings in the spring.

You begin July with a particular goal in mind. Goals are good and what will help you to achieve your goal is focus. You must remain focused and clear in order to reach your goal. And you know what else? you will better be able to achieve your goal if you allow others to help you. Taurus people are anal when it comes to getting things done, after all if you want a job done right, yada yada yada. Forget that, you will be the best manager when you learn how to delegate. so make up a job list -- and I don't care whether this is work-related or personal -- make up the list and give out jobs to do. You get to be the project manager because you made up the list, and everyone reports back to you.

In the past you have had some difficulties. Fighting, conflict, challenges have all been yours to wade your way through. Mostly challenges, which have fallen in your lap one after the other as if testing your strength. And now, your faith is somewhat challenged. I don't mean your faith in God, necessarily but if the shoe fits...What I mean is you now feel as though you have been somewhat shortchanged -- if not forgotten -- in the handing out the easy life scenarios. Don't lose heart -- or faith -- rather take stock of what resources you do have, and go after them.

By mid-month you have become so exhausted and tested you pretty much lose your will to continue the uphill battle. Boredom and depression, but even more-so a lack of desire to push on, cause you to just remove yourself from the game completely. Time for rest, regrouping, and re-evaluation. Even if the Universe came along right now and handed you exactly what you want and need in a golden chalice, you'd decline, that's how tired of this game you are.

Okay, so after you've had a little rest, you will stand up and face the fight head-on again, because that's what Taureans do. They're tough and stubborn. You will find yourself standing tall, and feeling strong -- with a newfound inner strength -- to once again face the frey. You know that if you don't give up, you will eventually reach your goal and accomplish what you need to.

Some of you Taureans may be experiencing some issues in your personal relationships. You may find during this hectic month a newfound love returns to an already existing relationship. Maybe your partner recognizes your need for support and this brings you closer once again. A new beginning in love is present in your cards this month, Taurus. So if you don't already have a relationship, you may meet someone new in the midst of all your craziness. This just might make things seem a little bit brighter and a little bit nicer. As the month comes to an end you will see things lighten up quite a bit with your personal challenges, and you'll have more time for a social life.

Don't be afraid of change. Change is constantly swirling around us. Taurus doesn't like change, they like everything to stay stable and secure, and to stay just as it is. Life doesn't happen that way. Nobody ever said life would be easy, and certainly nobody said it would stay just as it is. Change is inevitable so you will need to learn to go with the flow.

During this month you will find a flash of inspiration coming your way to help you cope, and to figure out just how to move through the difficulties. And you will. Pay attention to your dreams because very often you receive inspirational ideas through your dreams. Perhaps a relative will visit you in a dream and give you a message of comfort. Or you might see something on television, hear something on the radio, or a friend could offer you some good, sound advice so pay close attention to what's going on around you this month.

Now remember what I said in the beginning, if you are going to overburden yourself by taking on all the work yourself, you will become quickly exhausted. Be a good manager, and delegate, delegate, delegate. Cooperation should be your middle name this month, and this is your them for getting everything done that needs to be done.

By month's end you will see things beginning to smooth out. You still have another month left for summer, and you have new beginnings popping for summer. So this is soon to be behind you, and all new things are manifesting all because of your hard work and determination. So stick with it, Taurus, and you will feel better and calmer very soon. It will be as if you have hit the calm after the storm, the water is nice and smooth like a crystal clear lake with not a ripple upon it. So you see, change is good after all.
