July 2008 forecast for Scorpio

July becomes a real turning point for everyone, Scorpio, because it comes right after the celebration of the summer solstice. Depending on the source you check you may find June 20 as the date of the solstice, and June 21 as an alternative date. Whichever date the solstice falls on, it begins the season of summer, which begins an interesting time in your reading.

Mercury was retrograde for most of June, which really sucked. The good news is it is over now, and has been direct for about a week and a half by the time we move into July. That means we can begin summer with full speed ahead. You may have found June to feel somewhat stagnant and slow-moving. That is what happens during a Mercury retrograde, but I found it to be nothing more than a mild nuisance. I really didn't experience too many communication flare-ups or foul-ups -- some minor computer issues, nothing major -- and otherwise an uneventful June. What I did notice, however, was I was doing a great deal of reviewing my recent past, and re-evaluating where I'd like to go when I move forward, and refocusing on how to make things happen. Notice the re- that comes before these words. That's a hint as to what you can do to muddle through a Mercury retrograde, so next time it comes around you don't feel as though you'd like to bury your head in the sand somewhere. Hopefully you found yourself to be introspective as well during the month of June, so let's take a look at July.

The season of summer is a good time to reap what you've sown. Hopefully you planted seeds in the spring and you are now seeing them come to fruition in the summer. You may have been cultivating some plantings since the fall season, even. This, of course, is a metaphor I use to infer creative endeavors you initiate in order to manifest what you want. Using the different seasons along with astrological events -- such as Mercury retrograde, or not -- to help you in your endeavors can ensure proper timing. For example, you wouldn't really want to try and initiate anything in the winter season, although this is an excellent time to be reviewing and preparing for new beginnings in the spring.

Now let's take a look at July. The interesting issue here is issues from the past, which come up to test you. Try to remember that when you earn your battle wounds from life's various situations, you can take away one important thing: the lesson. When you move on to newer situations yet certain similar issues suddenly begin to pop up, you are haunted by a strange familiar sense of having been through all this before. This is a perfect opportunity to prove to yourself, and the immediate world at large, that you have the wisdom to deal with the new situation in a more mature and sussessful way.

If you are finding yourself in a situation where you have an issue that has come up from the past, take a step back and evaluate it first before taking action. Think about what is familiar about this scenario, how did you handle yourself in this situation in the past, and how can you handle yourself more effectively now? Think about how you would have handled yourself in the past had you known what you know now. Remember, hindsight is always 20/20, in other words, in looking back you gain clarity.

In the recent past you have spent your time putting out ideas with the intention of building success. You've already managed to establish yourself to a certain degree, but now you would like to expand your horizons. You find yourself waiting for results. That's fine, this is a good position to be in, building, expansion and growth. The reason why this was a good place to be is because it gives you time to also establish who you see yourself as. You're changing and growing and developing your own sense of truth. Once you are really sure and committed to that truth, you can begin to live it. This is really powerful stuff if you can appreciate it for what it is, and take advantage of the opportunity to expand. Break free from the boundaries that society puts on you through repeated drumming in of how things should be, and begin to see how things could be -- how they can be.

Also, and this is really important, you are at the close of a cycle in your life. This goes together with the issue from the past that keeps coming back. You are beginning a whole new chapter so take with you what you've learned in the past, but leave all the other stuff behind you and don't look back, only forward.

By mid-month you should begin to see the realization of your hopes and dreams. Keep in mind, that as long as you are able to recognize the old patterns -- and possibly even old relationships -- that pop up almost as stumbling blocks, and veer around them, you will blossom into the success you've only dreamed about up to this point. Otherwise, you should have no problem reaping your good fortune and success. Interestingly enough, it is pictured here in your reading as something you really are passionate about, and not so much as something you are solely invested in as a monitary gain.

Don't be afraid you won't know what to do. You will not be stuck in a mindset where you can't see your way out.You can and you will. You are currently on a successful track and July will prove to be the month where you saw victory in your endeavors. Success is yours, stability is yours both financially and emotionally and by month's end you will see everything turning into a much easier lifestyle. You have coming up by month's end a successful new beginning after what has been an extremely challenging and difficult period. And you will begin to see your life as becoming free from the difficulties you have seen in your more recent past.
