July 2008 forecast for Pisces

July becomes a real turning point for everyone, Pisces, because it comes right after the celebration of the summer solstice. Depending on the source you check you may find June 20 as the date of the solstice, and June 21 as an alternative date. Whichever date the solstice falls on, it begins the season of summer, which begins an interesting time in your reading.

Mercury was retrograde for most of June, which really sucked. The good news is it is over now, and has been direct for about a week and a half by the time we move into July. That means we can begin summer with full speed ahead. You may have found June to feel somewhat stagnant and slow-moving. That is what happens during a Mercury retrograde, but I found it to be nothing more than a mild nuisance. I really didn't experience too many communication flare-ups or foul-ups -- some minor computer issues, nothing major -- and otherwise an uneventful June. What I did notice, however, was I was doing a great deal of reviewing my recent past, and re-evaluating where I'd like to go when I move forward, and refocusing on how to make things happen. Notice the re- that comes before these words. That's a hint as to what you can do to muddle through a Mercury retrograde, so next time it comes around you don't feel as though you'd like to bury your head in the sand somewhere. Hopefully you found yourself to be introspective as well during the month of June, so let's take a look at July.

The season of summer is a good time to reap what you've sown. Hopefully you planted seeds in the spring and you are now seeing them come to fruition in the summer. You may have been cultivating some plantings since the fall season, even. This, of course, is a metaphor I use to infer creative endeavors you initiate in order to manifest what you want. Using the different seasons along with astrological events -- such as Mercury retrograde, or not -- to help you in your endeavors can ensure proper timing. For example, you wouldn't really want to try and initiate anything in the winter season, although this is an excellent time to be reviewing and preparing for new beginnings in the spring.

So now let's take a look at July. Transition is your main theme for July, Pisces, and what it means for you is that you are experiencing change in its raw form. In other words, you are changing, your circumstances surrounding you are changing and all this change can feel quite unstable and uncomfortable. Although change is good, it can be unsettling. Change happens always, life is never stagnant, and nothing stays the same. Therefore we must learn to go with the flow of change. Actually, Pisces being the sign of the fish -- and a water sign -- is better at change than, say, a Virgo. The sign of the double fish swimming in opposite directions is indicative of the indecision you sometimes feel you face.

And there is a subtext of a theme running through your main theme of change and that is achieving your heart's desire. Wish fulfilment is yours this month, Pisces, and it makes everything all better. You will find that through all this whirlwind of change and feelings of insecurity, if you take a closer look, you are actually getting what you want. And with what you want comes a calm replacing what was turbulent as recent as yesterday.

In the past, you have not always been the most patient person to be around. You have a quick wit, and a keenly intelligent mind, and this can make you sometimes a bit intolerant of others whom you may not feel are as intelligent as you. Hmmm. How arrogant of you. It's part of the territory of being a Pisces, however, you can also be a very good listener and people are drawn to you for your wisdom. It looks as though through your intolerance you were learning how to be more patient and more tolerant of others.

Your impatience and arrogance have created for you recently some issues that you are quite familiar with from your past. Issues from the past can come back to haunt you in order to show you the lessons you learned in past situations and give you a chance to apply what you've learned to new situations. This is an awesome opportunity for you. Let's take a look at personal, romantic relationship as an example.

If you have recently found yourself in a similar situaton with a relationship that you have experienced in the past, or in fact are back in an old relationship, you must consider looking at the old issues. These will teach you how to have success in this new situation. Especially if you are considering marriage, which by mid-month, looks like this will come up for you.

You have also been set on a path to kind of break free from traditional ways that can keep you in a rigid little box. Learning more about yourself and growing helps you to stretch beyond the box and do things according to how you see them rather than what is expected of you. I hope this makes sense to you. In other words, you are learning all about how to develop your own truth and live by that rather than what society deems appropriate. Doing things in a more unconventional manner will become your way from this point forward.

From mid-month forward you will have to work hard at not allowing yourself to fall into states of depression or anxiety. All situations are created for you to learn from, and if you can look at any situation objectively rather than subjectively, you can find the wisdom within it. This is important. If you find yourself feeling fearful of your new situation, try to realize that what you focus on is what you create so why make it an experience filled with anxiety?

Do not be afraid that someone is going to take advantage of you. You have to be willing to take a leap of faith sometimes. Past behavior is not always a predictor of future events. Sometimes it helps people grow and learn from their mistakes in order to be better -- together. If you have a past situation where you were hurt and now you are giving it a second try -- either with the same person or someone new -- you must allow yourself the opportunity to have a positive experience, and you won't know unless you take a chance. There are no guarantees when you are involving yourself with another peson's free-will choices, but you won't know unless you go for it. That is why you take a leap of faith, and you believe that you will be exactly where you are supposed to be and for all the right reasons.

And, in fact, good news is coming your way you just have to have a little faith. By month's end you will be challenged by this issue of having faith, and it will be all up to you. No one can have faith for you. You must be willing to believe in a situation, or in someone else, in order to achieve what you want. Things are not always what they appear to be, which means you have to be keenly aware of your surroundings. Look around you, notice where you are, who you are with, and pay attention to subtle gestures, comments, and signs that are shown to you. They are all there, and there is where you will find your peace for then you will know what truth is. Take a mental break and meditate on this for a while.
