July 2008 Forecast for Libra

July becomes a real turning point for everyone, Libra, because it comes right after the celebration of the summer solstice. Depending on the source you check you may find June 20 as the date of the solstice, and June 21 as an alternative date. Whichever date the solstice falls on, it begins the season of summer, which begins an interesting time in your reading.
 
Mercury was retrograde for most of June, which really sucked. The good news is it is over now, and has been direct for about a week and a half by the time we move into July. That means we can begin summer with full speed ahead. You may have found June to feel somewhat stagnant and slow-moving. That is what happens during a Mercury retrograde, but I found it to be nothing more than a mild nuisance. I really didn't experience too many communication flare-ups or foul-ups -- some minor computer issues, nothing major -- and otherwise an uneventful June. What I did notice, however, was I was doing a great deal of reviewing my recent past, and re-evaluating where I'd like to go when I move forward, and refocusing on how to make things happen. Notice the re- that comes before these words. That's a hint as to what you can do to muddle through a Mercury retrograde, so next time it comes around you don't feel as though you'd like to bury your head in the sand somewhere. Hopefully you found yourself to be introspective as well during the month of June, so let's take a look at July.
 
The season of summer is a good time to reap what you've sown. Hopefully you planted seeds in the spring and you are now seeing them come to fruition in the summer. You may have been cultivating some plantings since the fall season, even. This, of course, is a metaphor I use to infer creative endeavors you initiate in order to manifest what you want. Using the different seasons along with astrological events -- such as Mercury retrograde, or not -- to help you in your endeavors can ensure proper timing. For example, you wouldn't really want to try and initiate anything in the winter season, although this is an excellent time to be reviewing and preparing for new beginnings in the spring.

Unfortunately, there has been a crisis that has popped up, which may have set you back a bit. If you were involved in a personal relationship, someone may have left abruptly. Whether it was you who decided to leave the relationship, or your partner, it has been quite an ordeal.

If it was you who decided to leave, this may have come after a lot of soul searching and deciding that this was not a situation that encouraged soul growth. To you it may have seemed very ordinary, very average, every day, run of the mill, stuff and you needed some really inspired, fireworks and sky rocket-type stuff.

If it was not your choice and your partner left abruptly, this may have caused you to do a lot of soul searching to understand why. Understand this; you can't have a solid structure built on a less than solid foundation. Your foundation must have been shaky in order for this to have not been a viable relationship. Something had to give.

If this was not a situation involving a personal relationship it may have been a situation where you were being taken advantage of. This was not a situation where your best interest was being served. And you may be saying, well that was true of my personal relationship. Well then, so be it, it was for the best that it didn't work out. The important lesson here is, to build anything you do upon a solid foundation where you are fulfilling your soul and not just feeding your ego. You don't need to be in a relationship just because, you choose a relationship because it enhances who you already are.

And finally, it just occurred to me after a careful look at these cards, that you are still in this situation. Whether it is a personal relationship or a work-related involvment, you are in a situation that is not in your best interest. Maybe you got yourself into a relationship only to find out it wasn't what you expected, or you didn't really want it after all? That very well may be because this person is an ass and treats you abusively. Get out now while you still have your sanity and your bank account. If this is a work-related issue, you may need to handle things a little differently.

By mid-month you certainly find yourself at a crossroads of indecision. In order to know what direction to take you first need to know what you really want. Choosing the right path is always tough when you don't really know yourself all that well. Get introspective a bit, and determine what you need for you. Choosing a spiritually centered path is always the right path, just in case you needed a little push from me. You can't go wrong there. But only you can know for sure what is right for you.

You will meet someone who will be very kind and gentle with a nurturing soul. This person will want to help you through this confusing and troubling time. You may even decide to become romantically involved with this person. This might be just what you need whether romantic or work-related, this person seems to be just what the doctor ordered to sooth your soul. Whatever the relationship, it will become a nice friendship, with a solid, mutual respect for one another.

In the meantime, you either have to turn the steering wheel over the Universe for a while, and take a break from the driving, or completely change the way you look at things. A new perspective creates a new outlook and a new outlook creates a new environment for you. But you definitely need to let go of trying to control things for now and just go with the flow. Be a typical Libra and sit on the fence for a while.

Don't be concerned if you find yourself juggling for a while. You may be caught between two relationships until you  make an ultimate decision, or you may be looking for a new job while you are still working at the old. You can handle it so just do it and worry about it later. You're a Libra, you're good a balancing and juggling things.

Good news will be coming your way so chill out. I think by month's end you will be happy with how things worked out, or at least have a much more positive outlook for the rest of the summer. You will be back in the driver's seat by month's end, and able to create exactly what you want to create, and manifest your best outcome. Whatever you can conceive you can achieve!
