If you've been wondering why headlines in the news have been so dramatic lately, part of that can most likely be attributed to the solar eclipse coming on August 1. Eclipses usually deliver their news or messages -- if not on the actual date they occur -- within 4 days, or at least one month later, and sometimes up to six months later. The fact that a lunar eclipse is following within two weeks is most likely what will make August seem like drama central. 

Eclipses bring news of big events -- usually life-changing events -- such as, changes in jobs or career, change of locations or residences, graduations, education, divorce, loss of a job or loss of some kind, births or the news of the coming of a birth, engagements, marriage, sale or purchase of property, business deals or the start of a new business, health related issues or surgery. If an eclipse falls on your birthday you should protect yourself against illness by bolstering your immune system and getting enough rest, exercise and proper diet.

I am not an astrologer, so I get my information from other sources in order to have a better comprehension of universal timings, and how to interpret my own readings. Having a good working knowledge of astrology will help you to know how to proceed through your daily life, along with enhancing the readings you may be doing for yourself. And now for your August forecast.

You will need to rely heavily on your intuition this month, Leo. And your intuition will most likely be more heightened because of the astrological events going on. New beginnings are here for you right now, Leo, which you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt with the new moon (new beginnings) solar eclipse (big event) on August 1. If August 1 is your birthday, or you are born within 4 days of this event, watch your health by ensuring you are not overworking and not getting enough rest and proper diet. You can stretch yourself more thin than usual. You cannot always be everything to everybody, and you will need to set priorities big time this month. And pay attention to that little voice inside of you called your intuition, which will signal you as to what to do and when to act.

This new beginning will most likely occur for you in your area of career. You may be on the verge of your big break especially if you are in the entertainment industry in some capacity. This solar eclipse will mark big events in the media, which very well may mean you are involved in some large event that will be televised or appear before large audiences. You may also be traveling long distances for this new adventure. You know, I do not usually read the World card as world travel -- although it does carry that interpretation -- and in this case I just cannot ignore its placement. You are definitely on the move, Leo.

If you are a Leo and you are not involved in the entertainment industry, your big events could be in some other capacity with career such as an offer of a job in a totally new location where you have to travel far to get there. Or, you may be offered a great promotion with a fabulous raise, although big responsibilities come with it. You may just be planning a big event like a marriage or birth of a baby. You can fit this anywhere it will fit in your life , it all just depends on your personal situation. The most significant thing about this eclipse is your life will not be the same after this point. This marks a major shift for you and you will step up in the evolution of your spirit, your soul, your maturity, and your level of lifestyle.

Okay, wait just a minute, now is not the time to be the cowardly lion. You do not have time to go asking the Wizard for some courage. Decisions will come rapid fire at you, and you will need to make them quickly, without hesitation. This entire event could totally get washed out if you are afraid to make a commitment, accept the position, or hesitate on making a decision based on fear. You remember the expression, feel the fear and do it anyway. You will have to do that. Fear is not an option. What you focus on is what you create for yourself, and you do not want this opportunity to pass you by. I would much rather see you take on the qualities of obsessive compulsion from this Devil card than fear. Even though OCD stems from anxiety (fear) it still would give you the tenacity to achieve this goal rather than lose out because you were afraid.

This is a goal you had set for yourself in the past. This is something you have been working toward for a long time now. Your foundation, or where you are coming from, is this drive toward achieving something big. You have put quite a bit of hard work, and energy into achieving this goal, and methodically went after it. Well, here it is.
And now, this is a dream come true for you. Wish fulfillment is yours as this event explodes on the scene for you.

By mid-month things could get dampened by the full moon (endings) lunar eclipse (big event) in Aquarius on August 16. For you, Leo, this does not mean all this great news will suddenly fall through, rather you may have to make a sacrifice of some sort. You may need to give up one thing, in order to have this really great thing. That is why I said, fear is not an option, and you must not allow trepidations to get in your way. Whatever you have to cut away now in order to make room for this really great stuff you will be able to bring back in at a later date, once you are settled in your new life. You may have to put another event you were previously committed to on hold, or cancel it altogether. You may find you have to be separated from loved ones for a period of time, or put a relationship on hold, in order to pay your full attention to this right now. Do not be doubtful, do not lose faith, do not fear you will lose a loved-one, and do not allow money to be a factor. Sneak preview to month's end -- lots of money.

Again, you seem to fear the change. Maybe that is the fact that you are a fixed sign and that means you are stubborn to a certain degree. You like things to stay the same. You are going to have to be a bit more flexible right now, go with the flow, allow this transformation to take form. You are merely a player in this scene, you are simply along for the ride, so sit back and enjoy the view.

What is going on currently in your energy space right now is new money. You are either going to start a new job, get involved with a new project, or find a new source of income, but this new money is coming. For you Leos who are not going to be involved with any type of career change, rather you are looking toward the birth of a baby, now is the time of conception. This may also be the conception of a creative idea.

As I mentioned a little earlier, you are traveling, Leo. This might be as big as world travel, it may just be long distance travel within your country, or it may just be travel in general. You will, however, be traveling. And now for the big finish...fanfare please...big money is coming your way. This is the type of money income that comes from the sale of a piece of property, an inheritance, a raise in pay with a promotion at work, or a large income from work in general. Again, for those Leos not involved in a business or career event, you may be looking at marriage.
