If you've been wondering why headlines in the news have been so dramatic lately, part of that can most likely be attributed to the solar eclipse coming on August 1. Eclipses usually deliver their news or messages -- if not on the actual date they occur -- within 4 days, or at least one month later, and sometimes up to six months later. The fact that a lunar eclipse is following within two weeks is most likely what will make August seem like drama central. 

Eclipses bring news of big events -- usually life-changing events -- such as, changes in jobs or career, change of locations or residences, graduations, education, divorce, loss of a job or loss of some kind, births or the news of the coming of a birth, engagements, marriage, sale or purchase of property, business deals or the start of a new business, health related issues or surgery. If an eclipse falls on your birthday you should protect yourself against illness by bolstering your immune system and getting enough rest, exercise and proper diet.

I am not an astrologer, so I get my information from other sources in order to have a better comprehension of universal timings, and how to interpret my own readings. Having a good working knowledge of astrology will help you to know how to proceed through your daily life, along with enhancing the readings you may be doing for yourself. And now for your August forecast.

August will be your month to shine, Aquarius! Just look at those cards! You must have come through a huge transformation because you are now well on your way to a whole new you. July wasn't so bad, but August is really a turn around from the way things have been for you. So the words to the song, "Put On a Happy Face," are fitting for you because you have a tendency to hope for the best and expect the worst. Now you have reason to smile, and expect the best as well.

An offer is coming through for you this month, Aquarius. One, which will make you very happy. If you have recently lost your job -- which I had seen in July -- this might be a new job offer for you. If that is the case, you seem to have some trust issues that may be holding you back from wanting to accept this offer. If it is the same type of position you've had in the past, and one that you were let go from, I can see your trepidation. That could be causing you some concern, but it doesn't look as though you have a legitimate reason to be concerned. Unless, of course, your concern is more about staying in the same line of work, which has not been creatively gratifying for you. That may very well be a legitimate reason to have concern. You may need to look for work that feeds your creative energies more.

For those of you Aquarians who do still have your job, this may not necessarily apply in the way I just stated. Unless you have been made an offer within your current place of employment. This may also cause you some concern and create some relevant trust issues for you, but again, I do not see any valid reason why you should be concerned.

Now, for those of you Aquarians who are looking at personal relationship issues right now, rather than work-related stuff, I can see that this offer being made to you causes you concern. So what we have is trust as being the key issue for Aquarius this month regardless of the scenario. What I can tell you about whatever trust issues you are experiencing now are based on past experience and not necessarily present warnings. What you have to do is just move forward regardless of trepidations about getting burned again. Think of it as you already paid your dues, you learned those lessons, and now you are free to move forward in a whole new direction to experience new and exciting things.

Let's look at the past for a moment. Your past position, otherwise considered your foundation or where you are coming from, has enormous creative energies there. This creative energy is what you need to keep in mind as you move forward because I believe you have -- for a long time -- not been able to fully express that energy, whether you were restricted through your work or your personal relationship, or even your living situation. Some of you, remember, may have recently come through a divorce or a break-up of a long-term relationship.

Good news has now come your way regarding your past and you are now free to take control of your life. This is a biggie because I think for a long time you have felt powerless to affect any decent change. Now, you have the ability and the freedom to take the steering wheel and set your course for a successful new direction. You have felt trapped for a very long time, and stuck, without any clear vision as to how to get out of your little cage. That cage may have been self-imposed, but nevertheless, you were stuck. Keep in mind, mind over matter is all it takes to make changes in your life. You can change your thoughts and change your direction.

By mid-month you will be making some inquiries as to how you can make these necessary changes. It might feel like sticking your big toe in to see how the water feels, but it really is putting the message out there that you would like to see these certain things occur for you, and so they do once the energy returns to you. It's like a boomerang when you send out ideas with the hope of seeing something materialize. When it comes back, it's your ideas becoming reality. So, keep in mind, that you will be in a position of waiting for results by mid-month.

You will, however, see some very nice success mid-month, as well. Whenever the Sun card shows up in a reading it means in spite of how everything looks right now the future is sunny and bright. It also means that you have attained a certain level of success -- whatever you want that to be -- and you will now benefit from that success. If it is a new love relationship you've been working toward, then that is what your success will be. There is a birth of new love in your life by the time you make it to mid-August, whether that is the realization of a new love in your life, or within an existing relationship, or even just for yourself. It might also be a new love of what you are doing within your work situation, and you find that this new offer at work was successful and makes you very happy. Or, it might be that you find a new work situation and you realize you are much more fulfilled and happy, and successful. You can fit this in to your life wherever it works for your personal situation.

Don't be afraid. You seem to have fears about anxiety, depression and sadness. Are you afraid this will hold you back? You may be the type of person who just gets depressed periodically. That would not be unusual for Aquarius. Aquarians have a tendency to get depressed. You have to fight that to the best of your ability even if it means getting some outside help. Things are going to begin to go too well for you to be held back by depression or a general feeling of sadness.

In your current energy space during the month of August, you will take control of your life. Your decisions will be logical and precise, and made with the consideration of what is good and fair for everyone involved. Should you decide you could use the help of a doctor, this would be a good time to act on that. Whether you are seeking medical care, or mental health care, or even legal advice, this is your time to take action so do not let that fall by the wayside.

Probably the best news of all for you this month will be a change coming in regarding your financial situation. This is a good and stable change for the better, so you can expect to see things stabilize financially. This might be because of a new job, a job change, or simply because you are getting better at managing your money, or getting help for a problem you may have in regard to how you spend your money. This is also where that mind over matter energies come into play, because if you need to gain control over a certain bad habit, this is your time.

By month's end you have a glorious outcome of the realization of your personal hopes and dreams. It really doesn't get any better than this, and even though you may not have the living situation that you want, or you may not have the ultimate job you want, you are experiencing a happiness you haven't felt in a long time. You are enjoying a sense of true happiness and accomplishment. For those of you who are in a committed relationship, whether it is a marriage or just a long term relationship, this is a very good card to see in the outcome position because it represents a happy family and marriage, and your hopes and dreams come true.

Think of the month of August as a precipice and you are about to leap into a whole new life. You may continue to feel unstable for a short time as energies find a way to settle in where they belong, but this is a good thing. Transformation is never easy or smooth, and will cause you to feel unsettled as creative energies swirl around with no direction. Keep in mind this means it's your time to reinvent yourself. And put on a happy face!
