Foreword: August begins with a bang and a new Moon solar eclipse in Leo on August 1. And if that wasn't enough Leo drama for you, following comes a full Moon lunar eclipse in Aquarius on August 16. Eclipses are an astrological event where one planet moves in front of another causing a shadow. In the case of a solar eclipse, the Moon moves between the Sun and the Earth, blocking the light from the Sun. A solar eclipse always occurs along with a new Moon marking new beginnings. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon, again blocking the light from the Sun. A lunar eclipse always occurs during a full Moon and signals endings.
If you've been wondering why headlines in the news have been so dramatic lately, part of that can most likely be attributed to the solar eclipse coming on August 1. Eclipses usually deliver their news or messages -- if not on the actual date they occur -- within 4 days, or at least one month later, and sometimes up to six months later. The fact that a lunar eclipse is following within two weeks is most likely what will make August seem like drama central.
Eclipses bring news of big events -- usually life-changing events -- such as, changes in jobs or career, change of locations or residences, graduations, education, divorce, loss of a job or loss of some kind, births or the news of the coming of a birth, engagements, marriage, sale or purchase of property, business deals or the start of a new business, health related issues or surgery. If an eclipse falls on your birthday you should protect yourself against illness by bolstering your immune system and getting enough rest, exercise and proper diet.

This month carries an energy of cutting away what no longer works in order to make room for the new. Patience is going to be something you will need, and compassion for others, as you release your attachments to what you no longer need.
Several different possible scenarios take place for Pisces in August. You may be a Pisces who receives some very good news, something you've been waiting to hear about. Movement is happening, which could be one of two different things. One is a change of residence. Perhaps you were in the process of buying a new home, and you were waiting to hear if it went through. This could be your good news. You will be moving in the month of August. That is your releasing the old to make room for the new.
If you are not a Pisces who is moving during the month of August, you may very well be changing your work environment. You could be leaving the job you have in order to accept a new position somewhere else where the pay is better. This new job is a step up for you in your level of the type of work you do as well. It's like a promotion but you move to a whole new job. Or, you might just be receiving a promotion with a raise in pay where you are, and you change to a better office.
In the past you had been feeling very stuck where you were. Whether this was your living space or your work situation, you could not see your way out with a clear enough vision of how you would choreograph that. And a large part of why you felt you needed to make this change is you have been feeling disappointment about your progress to date. The way you see it is, you have been working so hard for so long you should have been further along by now. This change you have made will help you to feel as though you have something to show for all your hard work and efforts.
By mid-month you will be juggling between two things, whether it is between two homes or two work places, or work and home. You will also be focusing on your home, decorating and fixing things up. This will be a time when you are enjoying your home, and you almost prefer to stick close to home because you revel in the quiet times you have there.
Don't be afraid you won't be able to earn enough money to support your new life. If money is not an issue for you, you may be having some doubts about being in control of your own destiny. You like to be in control, but someone you work with, or are involved with, makes you question your own authority. Maybe you are just very worried and concerned about someone close to you? This person may be suffering in some way. As you well know, worrying won't serve this person in any way. Only you making an effort to ease things for this person could possibly help.
You may be a Pisces who is going through a break up right now. Don't be afraid to let go of the old in order to make room for the new. Everything changes, and it's important to be able to know when it's time to move on in a new direction. Try not to turn your back on your emotions -- or something you should be paying attention to in this situation -- because your feelings or problems will not go away just because you are ignoring them. You are supposed to be learning something from this experience, but you seem to just be gaining more and more anxiety. You must fight the feelings of anxiety and depression so you can be more productive in your life.
By month's end you will be moving forward in your personal affairs. Things should be getting a little easier for you by then, as you move into the month of September. There will be an excelleration in your personal affairs and perhaps a new relationship will begin for you. If not a new relationship, perhaps the one you've got will take a turn for the better and begin to move in a positive, forward direction.
